We have a new Jotul Oslo 500 that we plan to break in. I've read about how to, and that's pretty much explained in the manual. My question has to do between periods between the break in fires.

This weekend's temps are suppose to dip and I figured I'd start my 1st burn at 200 degrees. After this weekend, temps are suppose to rise for another week, perhaps two. Does it matter how long you between break-in burns? Should I wait until the temps are more consistently lower?....which would be more around the middle of October.

time between break in fires shouldn't really matter, you should be all set.

It's all good . . .
