Replacing entire flue for new stove?

  • Active since 1995, Hearth.com is THE place on the internet for free information and advice about wood stoves, pellet stoves and other energy saving equipment.

We strive to provide opinions, articles, discussions and history related to Hearth Products and in a more general sense, energy issues.

We promote the EFFICIENT, RESPONSIBLE, CLEAN and SAFE use of all fuels, whether renewable or fossil.
The first few are of the old stove and the nightmare that existed in that flue and chimney, followed by the new BK King and first full fire. I’m excited to see it lit up at night! Thanks for all the help, folks!

That's a very nice hearth. Keep an eye on the flue. For now, clean it after each cord burned to determine how much buildup occurs with the new stove. Burning fully seasoned wood will help.
