Rust inside the frame of Mt. Vernon pellet insert AE

Hi All,
I was cleaning my Mt. Vernon pellet insert AE and I noticed the frame from inside only (pic 1) and some parts inside (pic 2) have rust as you can see in the pictures below.. Please advise.. Should I sand them and paint?? Thanks in advance

Truthfully, it's on the backside and I wouldn't worry about it. That's what happens to steel that's not properly sealed on all sides. Perhaps bring it into the shop for a rusty jones treatment!
