Hello,
I have a quick question regarding the use of RED high temp sealant at liner/appliance adapter , I put Red sealant both inside and on outside of joint.
Let cure for a day, Big question - What temp is at the appliance adapter? Would the sealant possibly heat up and melt ?
I know it's rated for 600 degrees , but don't know temp exhausting out of Harman insert

Outside, never unless you were having a flue fire.Inside it may cook it(but i doubt) but it does not "run out" will just cook in place.Does not "run" like melting wax. Will be fine.
