SCF 050 auger not turning

How often do you vacuum the hopper to get the fines out? A lot of fines in the pellets or a damp batch? I screen mine, more time consuming but it keeps dust down when reloading and keeps the fines out of the hopper. I use a shop vaccum set-up but many just use a screen.
