How old do you's think this fallen monster is?

Pics are from Western New York. This is at an old dam site, now swimming and fishing hole, on a local creek.

Looks like a big cottonwood and it going to be 60+years old.

Probably grew pretty fast there (plenty of water, on a sunny edge)- so not as old as you might guess if it was elsewhere.

Impressive beast, however.

Sure looks like a cottonwood to me to. I would guess it to be around 15 years old. Them things grow fast. :lol:

Really though, I think Jay is probably pretty accurate. 60+ sounds like an honest swag.
