Food for thought,if most stove mfg's and most codes call for a seperation(up to 4 foot) of the exhaust and intake(oak) how is direct vent style legal?Let you guys find the answers while I go to work.Bob

My Harmans have no such specification.

If you look at direct vent piping and the way the endcaps and stoves that use it are constructed you will see your answer.

My mistake,harman explains it best,exhaust cannot be within 48" of air intake "of another appliance".
