I got to the hospital at 10:00 this morning and she was already dressed and wanting to go home. I helped get her shoes on and then took things out to the car. Drove the car to the front and there she was. So we were home before noon.

She did lay down shortly after coming home as she has not been sleeping very well in the hospital. I can't imagine why.... But she is really happy to be home and wants to thank everyone for the well wishes.

No, she will not be out stacking wood either. She can stay inside and do the cooking, cleaning, dish washing, laundry, etc., etc. ==c

Good news. However, this is going to be tough on you. Getting up all night to wake her up and take her blood pressure. Wake her up to take some medicine. Wake her up to see if she wants to change her sleeping position. Man you are going to be one tired puppy.;)

HehHeh . . . Dennis you are a funny guy . . . truth be told . . . you'll be doting on her hand and foot . . . or at least will try . . . but no doubt she will tell you to go away as she can do it herself.

Wish her a speedy recovery . . . and take good care of her . . . even if she says she can do everything on her own.

Nothing like that first day home from a hospital stay! She must be happy even though you haven't bought her a Happy Meal yet.

Things are really going great. I've caught her several times already without walker or crutches! Very little pain. This hip is doing much better than her first one. She even wants to get the meals and do dishes, etc. Really folks, I'm not joking on this one! She is awesome and I do love her. We've been together a long, long time. Locust really hit the nail on the head with his post. So much truth to that. The whole atmosphere is different with both of us together again. Okay, I'm a softie.

Softie.....Yeah I spotted that too. That's the way it is supposed to be. My wife and I lead a divorce care program so I always love seeing a long marriage. Glad things are going well Sav

Knew that a long time ago my friend . . . a person doesn't have a long lasting marriage and such great love for his wife like you do if they don't have a soft heart and a good soul.
