My son and I built a small sun room addition on his house and we are thinking about heating it with a wall mounted direct vent propane heater. I did a heat loss calculation on the building and it would require a 4000 btu appliance. I have looked into the Rinnai heaters. They have one that puts out 8000 btu's. Does anyone have any experience with the heaters that do not use any electric power? Thanks for any help and or suggestions.

Thanks Retired Guy. We will be taking a real close look at that stove. I wish I could afford a soapstone wood-stove.
