So, I'm reading a major media story today about a web developer who is suing Facebook for MANY billion! Turns out he may have a contract with the founder of FB where he was offered a percentage.......

http://tinyurl.com/23v6wtr

but then the article goes on and says:
"Ceglia is no stranger to the New York court system or restraining orders himself, according to the Journal. In late, 2009 New York State Attorney General Andrew Cuomo issued a temporary restraining order against Ceglia's company, Allegany Pellets, LLC. Cuomo said the company had taken more than $200,000 in advance payments from customers, and promised to deliver 1,900 tons of wood pellets in the following months. The company, according to the Attorney General, failed to deliver any products or issue refunds to disgruntled customers. Wood pellets are a heating fuel typically made from compacted sawdust that can be used to heat homes. Allegany Pellets is no longer accepting orders on its Website"

Why, oh Why........have pellets hit the news so much as scams?

I dunno...some bad apples in any barrel.......pellet dealers and snake oil salesman, webmasters and pornography, radical Mormons and bigamy, priests and youg boys...the list seems to go on and on.......

What kind of baffles me is a software guy trying to be a pellet guru. There's no wounder they couldn't get things going. There is no 0's and 1's in wood fiber!

Its just such an easy scam to pull off, you know. Its the middle road between the pick pocket and the long con. No surprises here. Once again, this is a problem that can be easily remedied with a swift beating with a bamboo sword. All moneys to be recouped via sale of pay per view event. I'm not surprised by the scam, more surprised by how many people fall victim to this stuff...every year.

Is that a slow or fast skinning? If it is a fast method it isn't painful long enough.

oh its very slow. the bamboo is not sharpened, its just a round bamboo cane witha handle and they beat you with it (popular in Singapore). You do lose some skin from the fibers splitting on impact, but its mostly just good old fashioned blunt force trauma to the butt and back of the legs. Looks horrifically fun.
