Probably related to that Shelby swamp logger idiot on Ax Men.I seen him work barefoot more than once. !!!

Even for such staged BS as it is,I'd think the company that insures that TV network wouldnt allow that at all.

Sad thing is, he's probably one of the smarter ones featured on that show. Lots of grunts just starting fights on that one. At least Shelby is genuinely entertaining. ==c

Lighten up guys....I zoomed in and I quickly counted that he still had 9 toes left. He can't count higher than that anyway.

Come on now, he is saving up for the truck restoration. Shoes can only get you so far, but a fine truck, now that is NICE.

No love for us barefooters? Lots of folks I know are barefoot nearly all the time and believe its healthier for your foot and gait. I'm barefoot as much as possible, and for most things and much safer, more agile, and much less prone to rolling an ankle or tripping.

I'm a barefoot runner too, and ran my first barefoot half marathon last year. (thats me on the right)

But I still wear steel toes when cutting wood!

We picked up a load of lumber from an Amish guy last year. He was offloading 120lb boards from the mill, standing on white rock, barefoot.

I have plenty of respect for barefooters.....but you gonna go out and run a chainsaw with no foot protection? I hope not.....

There's a local preacher that is into the colonial trades and such, he's into restoring log cabins big-time here in central PA. He finds them all over, dissassembles them, re-hewns beams that are damage or rotted and rebuilds them....but get this....he hews the logs with a razor sharp axe in his stocking feet!! Makes my stomach flip watching him....

Uh, did you notice that he had both hands on the rear handle? No hard hat, not eye protection, no shoes, sleeveless shirt, and shorts. I think that was an MS880 because it makes my 660 look small.

Uh yes I noticed he had both hands on the rear handle.I'm not in any way condoning what he was doing, just posted the video. He obviously had control because that saw never left where he aimed it at.

And it was an 070 not an 880,says so in the video title.

lol - that is what I get for not reading. Truthfully, I didn't spend much time watching it. Had to read an article about the repeal of the death penalty in Maryland and additional gun control in Maryland. Going to go take my Pepto now and maybe chew on a couple Tums.

Actually I have two of those...
    Here are mine:

Although they may say they are 'barefoot' shoes, thats kind of an oxymoron. And I like to wear them around, but for running I much prefer barefoot, I actually hurt my feet running in the pair I am wearing in the pic...

You must have some knarly Hobbit feet to be able to run around barefoot! Pretty much only time I'm barefoot is in the shower.

I almost lost the big toe on my left foot some years back (truck axle fell and exploded it)... very rare I'm not wearing steel toe boots. I go jogging in boots even.. the $35 Walmart specials are actually more comfortable than my $100 something dollar running shoes.
