Hello everyone, im new to the forum and also new to old stoves but hoping I can learn a little bit on here. Backstory, a few years ago myself and family bought a house that has an outdoor sauna, inside that sauna is a wood stove. I am trying to find information and possibly a value on this stove but google has failed me. Any help would be appreciated. some Information about the stove, on the door it has the markings Republic 150 VOGELZANG, INT'l. CORP, PAT PEND, HOLLAND MICH 49420. Im not sure if the square casing around it is an original thing or if someone placed it around the wood stove. Anyways any help would be appreciated. Thanks for your time in advanced

Search "Barrel Stove Kit".
They are a door, legs and outlet designed to attach to your own steel barrel.

There is no book value for classic stoves, only what buyer and seller agree upon. New barrel stove kits can be found for $69.00. (Standard BK100E) This may have a heavier gauge box than a thin walled barrel, but barrels burn out and are replaced before things go wrong with the "stove" kit. They are not UL listed for use in homes and illegal to install a wood stove in any garage or area with flammable vapors, so their use is very limited.
