I have a question regarding stove pipe temp. I have two thermometers, one placed on the stove top and one on the stove pipe about 12 inches from where it connects to the stove. It is a magnetic thermometer not an internal probe. What is the difference in temp with the magnetic compared to the internal. So say if my magnetic is at 300 dgrees what would be an internbal temp.
