Stove pipe ??

I'm going to change out my single wall stove and go with double wall. Is it ok to use adjustable pipe in a horizontal run? I was looking at Selkirk installation instructions and all the examples show fixed lenth on horiz. run. It didn't say you couldn't either. Thanks!

Yes, you can use Selkirk DSP adjustable pipe in the horizontal run. Just remember to pitch it slightly uphill toward the chimney.

An adjustable horizontal length shouldn't be a problem. In addition to making it a slight upward pitch, be sure to screw all joints together with 3 screws spaced evenly around the pipe.

On an adj piec I usealy seal the interior joint wiith furnace cement from the inside of course.

Recommend is 1/4" per foot of horizontal but we went closer to 1/2" and I'm thinking that may have allowed us to go shorter with the chimney.
