I am replacing 8" single wall stove pipe from an old stove with 6" double wall pipe when I get my new stove delivered. My roof chimney is 8" Double Wall Stainless Selkirk Metalbestos with an 18" section connected before I get down to the current 8" single wall. The Metalbestos part numbers are 8T-RSP (the roof kit) and below it is the 8T-18. I have attached a few photos.
What do I need to adapt from the 8" roof kit to my 6" double wall Black stove pipe? I will be covering about 8 feet from bottom of the Metalbestos to the top of stove. Are the Class A roof connections universal between brands? If I use an online stovepipe supplier (there seem to be many) who do you recommend?
