I have a Rutland therm on my 2000 sq ft Century on the top step of the stove top right in front of the pipe and burnt a full load of seasoned hedge last night hot hot hot fire had the house 92 and it was 29 outside but thermometer only read 400 on stove top. I cant get it above 400 do ya'll think its the therm not reading right? Or do you think I am not getting it hot enough by the way 400 with the air closed off and awesome secondary happening.
