Haven't posted any pictures in awhile, so here are a few from today. Two more weeks and deer season will be over, then it's back to making firewood for me!

Next month this wood goes into the stove. It's been waiting patiently for four years:

Now it's easy to see any potential firewood laying in the underbrush until the snow gets deep:

Soon my trailer filled with wood will be rumbling down this path once again:

This could come any day now. Then I use my old sled to haul wood instead of the trailer:

Yes indeed! Where I live there is more oak than any other species.

It's missing me by a couple hundred miles. Minneapolis is supposed to get 5+. Has been rain and sleet mixed here most of the day.
