I am a newbie and would like to use my Craftsman multi-meter to test the moisture in some of my wood. I read on another thread awhile ago about doing this. My question is what setting do i seletion on my multi-meter to get the correct reading for wood moisture? In the past i have only used it to check the strength of 9 volt batteries, all those other selections i don't know what they are for. I understand that i will not get a true reading of the moisture due to different wood types. All I'm looking for is it under 20% and ready to burn or does it need more time to season. Thanks.
