VC Intrepid opinions?

[Easy Livin’ 3000]

Considering a new stove. Have heard that VC stuff hasn't been up to snuff in recent years, but the Intrepid fits the bill.

Any experience with a very recent model Intrepid to share?

Price on the VC website is $2,599.

Some minir things have changed but not enough for me to change my mind.
