Any recommendations on how to restore the griddle of a Vermont Castings to its original look. After a month or so of burning, the top of my griddle has some black on it.

    Thanks in advance

Is this an enameled stove? If so, what color? If not, the darn thing's black anyway, right?

If it is enameled, there are touch up paints I believe. Not sure how high temp they are.

Get some oil and steel wool. That's what VC recommended to me when I had a customer put a soda pop on one of my showroom units.
