Hi I just brought a vista stack 640. It's in great condition for its age. Just wondering if it needs fire bricks in it or not.? My fire combustion heater

Welcome. Hopefully an owner from down under will reply soon. I've never seen one, but from the pictures it looks like it has cast iron side plates and baffle with no firebricks. A while back our local expert said there were no firebricks. There are a few threads on this stove here. Here's a couple that may prove helpful:

Thanks mate, yeah it's cast iron so that why I thought I'd ask. Also I need a flue kit for it if anyone can suggest I good one. I'm in Adelaide, AUS. Thanks
