I have a Warnock & Hersey Model P22 where the auger won't continually feed from the hopper automatically. The manual feed button works fine. It's been all cleaned out and there are no obstructions. Any ideas?

I'm new to stoves but love it when it works.

Thanks in advance!

That would be a Breckwell P22 I think. Warnock & Hersey is the testing lab.

Could be a number of reasons for it not working depending on how yours works.

1st you said you can manually feed it correct?

2nd the board should send a signal to your auger when certain conditions are met as follows:

Do you have a high limit switch ? most stoves do

Check for continuity through that sensor 1st & then i will give you other steps to follow.

1st Do you have a wiring diagram/manual?

2nd Check wire connections (loose connections, broken wire, bad solder joint/spade connector)

3rd Probe the out feed signal for the auger to see if (from the out feed of the board ) sends the proper voltage
