Any one else get junk watts t&p gauges ? I have one that the temp is off 10 deg. and another that the pressure is way off and I'm pretty sure the temp is also off on the second one to.

Any recomendations for a GOOD t&p gauge.

Don't have an answer for you. I have about 3 different brands on my systems expansion over the years and not impressed with any of them. They aren't built to a high standard, I am sure for bigger money you can get a more accurate one. Use those for the walk by look or to fill a hole, rely on a digital one hooked to some kick ass computer program

I was just thinking I need to change my gauges out. I bought some of the push fit ones and added T's in several locations where I thought it would be nice to see temp.

Boiler Out Temp
Before Danfoss
After Danfoss
Start of underground
Return of under ground

I have the Watts Temp/Pressure in my garage manifold. They are better than the push fit ones I have. As far as I can tell the push fit ones are 10- 15 degrees off. My Watts gauges show close to boiler temp. Don't waste money on push fit.

Check your Watts gauges I think they have screws to adjust the temp settings.

If temperature is your main concern, and probably less less expensive than fittings plus temperature gauges, you might consider Dallas 1wire DS18b20 sensors plus digital panel meters. Approximate price on each meter including the sensor and s/h is $14.00. This way you can read all temperatures at a glance. Not the best picture, but ... Panel Meter

I dont have any way to Know the correct temp on the one gauge to adjust it without moving it to a different place ,but that is the one that the pressure is wrong on so I'll see if they are adjustable and retun at least the one that that pressure is wronge on.

looks like a good way to go. Maybe this summer I'll convert to that.

Almost all those gauges are junk. I've replace 4 on my system and finally quit when I found some that were inaccurate, but wouldn't leak. Total B.S. I don't spin them on with my hand, don't drop them, don't put them into too shallow/deep a well. I went to two different stores, tried two different brands, asked around and was finally told they're all junk and I believe it.

Get the digital. For whatever reason they don't hold up.

Didnt see an adjustment on mine.

Mine have a slotted screw end on the end that goes into the well for adjustment, don't know who makes them.
The t&p one in my oil boiler stopped reading pressure in about a year. I guess that the result of chinese manufacturing...
