Wow, looked good for us for some rain too, got one shot of lightning, a little thunder, & enough rain to dampen the top of the grass. Bummer, but at least cutting will be better tomorrow with the cooler temps. Stay safe. A C

Stay out of the woods! No golfing either ;)

We rarely get thunder storms with summer like this year, we've had 1 so far that just miss us.

Sun finally partially breaking thru here, up to 63°.

Have to go, it looks like were on the edge or right in it.
5:52 pm, we had some lightning with some needed rain (still raining) but the heavy storms went south of us by 5-8 miles.

I was up at Cook's pond off the Tooley Pond road the last two days Zap. Visiting with some old friends and doing some 12 oz. curls. Between that kind of workout and the heat I am pretty tired now. Time to recoop.

It was good to have the rain come in this morning. We came back home around lunch, a little rain off and on during the trip. I see they are making some progress on the construction on that curve. What do the locals call that curve with the light? I have heard it referred to as "dead man's curve". That project was not how I imagined it from the news stories I had read about it. But looks like it will be an improvement.

We are getting some more rain now. Finally. I guess we have had four different times of rain in the last two weeks. But now very much any of those times. Did you get much rain all together at your house today?

We had some quick hard rain but not that steady rain we need. The Tooley Pond road had some trees down this afternoon from the storm. The locals call it the letter S.

Just started raining again, we'll take what mother nature puts down. You can smell the woods from the rain with the small breeze we have.

Yes. It was very nice to wake up to cooler temperatures. I am not one who enjoys the heat much. When it gets above 80, I start to get .... o_O
