What kind of wood did I scrounge?

What kind of wood did I get today? The left (white I assume this is sycomore) piece is really stringy and hard to split.

It's Invisible Wood. Very tricky to split, because you can't see where it is. :p
 
I think I see 2 woods there silver maple and sycamore
 
i agree looks like a piece of silver maple and a piece of sycamore
 
One of them looks like Sycamore (on the left).
