Active since 1995, Hearth.com is THE place on the internet for free information and advice about wood stoves, pellet stoves and other energy saving equipment.
We strive to provide opinions, articles, discussions and history related to Hearth Products and in a more general sense, energy issues.
We promote the EFFICIENT, RESPONSIBLE, CLEAN and SAFE use of all fuels, whether renewable or fossil.
Couple of years ago some one posted an article about some kids getting burnt when the dad put some fluid in the wood burner.
Said to see some one get hurt for no reason at all.
Generally we tend to only hear about the truly ridiculous accidents. I'm sure there are plenty more we don't hear about. Are these accidents happening because people just don't know better or is this how survival of the fittest works in a modern society?
