Will having a coal fire tonight in the old smoke dragon burn out/ dry out the creosote from lots of low heat fires. DON'T WORRY it's in the greenhouse not my house. The coal is burning a nice even hot temp while it's cold out tonight and I thought maybe it would really dry the flue out. I don't know anything about coal fires but the furnace is a wood coal burner. I picked up about 2 tons of free coal this fall so what the heck

Is the flue approved for burning coal?
