Great photo I remember those days! It was fun as a kid but it was the last place I wanted to be as a teenager :-/

Good looking helper you have there. At that age I was already taking care of the heating stoves in our house. I had to carry wood to the back porch daily and when I was home it was my duty to keep the stoves filled and the ashes dumped etc. I'm glad I learned a few things at a young age.

Awesome! I remember wood processing being a ton of work- but I remember it very fondly. Taught me a lot too. Good for you getting him involved early!
