    Those shear-splits from knotty spots look and stack funny, but they sure burn longer. A neighbor burner just leaves the knots sit in the woods. I told him he's wasting the best part...

    A friend wants to split the 2 cords of ash he has, so I'll bring my huskee over tomorrow after work. Next weekend, felling a 60' oak, plan on limbing, bucking and loading that up. Be well
