I recently picked up a ton of Barefoots for the dead of next winter. I popped a bag into the XXV to play with settings, and was surprised by pellet length. The pic below shows one just shy of 2.25 inches -- while that's the longest I found, many were near 1.75 inches.
I've read about bridging on these forums, and that worries me. I swear I hear my auger breaking up the longer pellets as it turns. Maybe that's in my head?
Are these pellets too long? Or am I just bored by spring and making up potential problems?
