Dry- walled in. We did use fire-resistant cement board and metal studs.
Firering side of the heater from the hallway.
Outside layer of bricks. We dug them up in our back yard.
Ovenbench inside the kitchen. I did poor a concrete top on top of the inner core (2 inches airspace)

Finished heater in the kitchen.

The platform was created to connect the heater with the existing Chimney. Since we have 12 ft ceilings, that was not a problem ans makes a great breakfast area.
