    Newbie Question about fireplace screen and doors

    Hi, Our wood burning fireplace firebox height is about 3/4” higher than the hearth. We ordered a metal screen which has legs on both front and back. Since hearth and firebox are uneven it won’t fit the fireplace snugly. For now we’ve kept it on the hearth about 2” away from the fireplace...
