For any CT members (who seems to be most of us) I found an ad on Craigslist advertising $190 ton for Maine Hardwood Pellets (any good?)

The only thing is they are not bagged up. They are in 1 giant "super sack"

Seems like a great way to save money but wow...the hassle....

DEPENDS on which Maine Pellets these are....
 
Biggest problem is once there loaded on a truck without a forklift how would you unload them?, not worth the hassle...if they were $100....maybe............

I agree.

1 ton of un-bagged pellets is quite the hassle.
