Would a 1976 VC Resolute be epa rated? I can buy it for $150 but not sure if its worth restoring...not sure if parts are available.

Any insight would be appreciated.

thanks

I'm pretty sure that's pre-EPA and has an automatic damper.
I'd buy it.

It is not EPA rated. Is it worth $150....well if it just needs to be broken down, re-cemented, and install some new gaskets, it is worth it. However, if anything is damaged, cracked, or warped, then I would probably pass. New VC parts are $$$$$ and finding used ones without the same problem as yours is tough.

Thanks i'm going to pass. Seems like a lot of work and money when i can probably get an nc 30 for less by the time i'm finished and will preform much better

cheers
