First, the thermo snap disk for the blower had a bent lead when new, and now works intermittently. What are the specs for this disk, and where can I get one. The local dealer seems unsure. I can only find them for pellet stoves on google.
Second, in prep for chimney sweep, how exactly does the top baffle and insulator plate come out?
thanks

Usually the spec for the snap disk is in the part number code. If you can take the snap disk out, write down everything that is printed on its side rim and post that here. We may be able to decipher it for you.

The sweep, if a good one, should be able to deal with the baffle and insulator plate. Have your manual out and available. It looks like pages 29-30 have the baffle info.

Around the disk is printed "21500 F120-15F 7000-301 A0627"

thanks

Guessing that the t-stat would close at 120 degrees F and open at 105 degrees F.. The rest is part #'s ..
