Count for 2018 - 2019:

  2. Started burning sometime in November
  3. Burned 32 bags
  4. Stash count 119 left

1. Stash - Started with a little less than 7 tons
2. Started burning in October
3. Burned 101 bags
4. Stash count 831 bags - (Purchased 12 tons in December for the next two years)

1. Stash - Started with 8 bags. Approximately 1 week of inventory.
2. Started burning in November
3. Burned 45 bags
4. Stash count 9 bags left. I go to Home Depot when I need more bags.

Started with approximately 2.5 ton when I started burning in October, burned approximately 30 bags so far but have been buying 8 bags a week since I started burning so my stash has increased.

About 5.5 tons to start the year. Have burned 113 bags so far.

Last year Jan 28, 2017 I reported using 66 bags with 80 bags left.

This year Jan 23, 2018 I have used 61 bags with 90 bags left.

Tonight I will be doing my 2nd complete stove cleaning. with the removal of all 7 metal parts. Why tonight because its warm outside and I need to let the stove cool down completely so my shop vac with paper dust bag doesn't go up in flames. !!!

I just put our 62nd bag in the hopper, and we have 18 left. I wanted to order three tons when we got the stove, but got overruled. It was a costly decision. Next burn season, I'll be better organized and get an order in early.

Started burning 2nd Dec...26 bags so far
5 In Garage
Buying when needed at Lowes and Tractor surprise

This year, I have been burning propane at $1.50 a gallon and only 3 bags of pellets. Last year I spent $2 per gallon of propane.

Just got a propane fill up today 1/31/2020. As of this date, I have spent $615 LESS this year compared to last years 70 bags of pellets and propane.

Upped my stash using coupons to TSC so available for this year is 307 bags.

Used 46 for January so this season's total so far is 147 bags.

Started with 165 bags. Stove installed dec 5th. 129 left. HUGE savings over oil!!

Started with 314 bags on October 31. Currently at 150 bags with a full hopper. Used 336 bags last year. Looks like heat pump time the next 3 days with warmer temps predicted.

Started to burn End of September
4,5 Tons Cubix
2 tons left plus 6 bags
Hope I have enough for this season of burning

For 2019/2020 season, started with roughly 120 bags of mostly Hamers. This AM, I still have 93, but (A) shut down a week and a half ago for stove problems, (B) we usually burn only about 5 hours/night on weekday evenings, and 14 hours/day on weekend days.

Started the season with a ton and a half and only have 12 bags left. Thankfully it's been a rather mild winter here. Planning on getting another ton this week since everyone seems to have some in stock this year.

1. Stash - 6 Tons (300 Bags)
2. Started burning in October
3. Burned 2.5 Tons (125 Bags)
4. Stash count 3.5 Tons (175 Bags)

Very Cold Oct. Very Warm Dec and January. I have about 33 bags on the back porch ready for rest of Winter. Last year I got 5 Tons and had almost 1 Ton Left Over (50 bags). Will end up with almost 3 Tons I bet or little less than that. Worst case is 100 bags. 400 I don't have to spend next year.

I use Trane Heat Pump i X13. I use it when Temps at night stay 35f. Turn off Pellet stove if 35f or above. Today will burn all day I think ! Have done 2 Major Cleaning when it warmed up so I don't have to do it when I really need the Pellet Stove.

Using North Idaho Energy Logs. Made Locally. (Pellets).

I only store corn 1000 pounds at a time. Probably do not buy at the best price at that quantity. I do not care my electric bill is $200 less a month plus not buying firewood so it is a net savings I do burn about a 2200 pounds a month of corn. This is on average per month in North Central Minnesota.

Started with 3 tons/150 bags...
As of today, went through half of it...
Stove chow...219 $ a ton...amazing oil savings...and such a nicer heat...just loud hahaha...
But i assume you get what you pay :-)
