After doing a lot of research here I purchased and had installed the summit le insert. Extremely happy with the stove and the heat output. I pulled the fan covers off after cleaning and noticed the four bolts holding the blowers on were very loose. I don't believe that they are supposed to be loose and tightened all four down before firing the stove back up. Was that the right thing to do?

Do the bolts pass through rubber grommet mounts? If so, they shouldn't be overtightened.

No there are no rubber grommets just metal to metal. The parts breakdown in the manual doesn't show the bolts. It just shows the bracket.

Sounds like a good catch then.
