I once bought a fruit tree from a nursery in Washington State - by the Sound. I ask, "How often do you water all of these trees in your orchard?" He says, "We don't water any on them. We are below sea level." Wow - I miss a watering once and my trees are suffering. I think it was in Poulsbo, Washington.
