25-PDV aprox 2008 Room air blower not working

At the end of my season last year my room air blower stopped working so I started to diagnose it today. When I run it through diagnostics the combustion blower works, the lower auger works, the ignitor works but the room air blower and upper auger do not. I removed and cleaned room air blower and hooked it up to combustion pwr feeds and it works fine in diagnostic mode.

I feel like i'm missing something simple. Please help.

Since the blower worked when it was hooked to the combustion power connections, that seems to indicate either the board or the connectors as the problem.

If I were you, I'd give Englander tech support a call tomorrow. You might ask to talk to Mike Holton. He's the Senior Tech there, and also a member of this forum. I'm sure he or one of his other techs can help diagnose the issue.

BTW, any possibility that you had a power surge or spike last spring? Is the stove plugged into a GOOD surge protector?

I had the same problem on my stove last year, mine would also work when hooked up it was connected to a different power source.

The problem ended up being the triac on the control board. It was only a $4 part, if you feel comfortable about that kind of thing. My stove was out of warrenty and fixing electronics is part of my day job, so I was OK with it. I will say that, being a surface mount, some care is needed so as not to damage the traces on the board. While I was at it, I put a ZIF (zero insertion force) socket in as well, should this ever happen again. And, my stove was on a surge protector.
