4 way wedge

It can be done, but multi-way wedges aren't really recommended for "wedge on ram" style splitters - supposedly it puts strains on the hydraulic cylinder that are not good for it... That said, I believe the approach that people that do it use is to get a multi-way that slips onto the existing wedge by fitting it fairly well, and having a pin that goes through it and above the existing wedge to hold it in place.
