Here I go again. When it comes to storage it seems like I change my mind more than I change my underware. I was dead set on running my boiler without storage this winter but now:
I'm thinking about going ahead with adding 500 gallons of storage (propane tank). Just heard that the average cost of heating this winter in the N.E. will be $2700.00
I have a TarmSolo40, slant fin oil boiler, 40 gallon super-stor indirect DHW.
80' of 1 1/4 copper pipe (total supply and return) separates the two boilers.
What size expansion tank should I figure on getting?
I'll need a 1 1/4 zone valve. I'd like to get a full bore. Make, model#?
I'm following NoFos's simplified pressure storage as close as possible.
