How do you drill/punch a hole on the flex liner to put in rivets?
My liner surface is too slipery and hard to break in.
is there special tool for this kind of work?

Try a small drill bit first, then a larger one the size for the rivet. Or, us a sharp awl or center punch with a pc of wood behind the liner inside.
Or, try one of those drill bits that has a pilot end. Or sue self tapping screws.

Thanks for the info.
Is it necessary to put on rivet nuts ? I can think of a way to put on rivet nuts when you are connecting two pieces of liners(both longer than your arm) together using an adapter.
