Accentra, another ignitor busted

There is something wrong with these ignitors on the Harman stoves.

On mine it just busted and I will need to replace it for the fourth time in less than three years.
This is ridiculous.
I have a power surge and backup battery installed since I replace mine last time in November 2007 less than six months ago.

They dont last six months on this stove.
This will be the fourth replacement.
I am not sure what the dealer can do to fix this but he is not going to be happy talking to me next monday.
I am pissed.

i was talking to a former harmon dealer the other day and he said that harmon had outsourced their ignitor assemblies and they were defective. something like 9000 of them dont know for sure, but from what ive seen on the forums, there definately is a problem.

And I am the lucky recipient of four of them.

It is a nuisance for sure.
I will see what the dealer says and well go fromt here.
