Hello Listers,
Recently I joined Hearth.com and was assisted trouble shooting some strange behavior on my Advantage II combustion issues. Maybe someone knows the answer to this:
I have bypassed the control board and have the combustion fan running direct to an AC outlet with fuse. The current draw is a consistant 0.9 amps measured with my fluke meter. The motor functions fine but the case gets pretty hot, probably 140deg/f. I can touch it without burning my fingers, but it is uncomfortable.
When the stove is running, how hot does the case of the combustion motor get?
Thanks in advance,
Grant
