Currently have a problem with my Whitfield Advantage III stove purchased in 1994. The blower motor does not appear to be getting correct power voltage/current and speed increases/decreases as the auger motor kicks in. Blower motor over heats. Control board is the older analog type used at that time. Installed new blower motor but does the same thing. It is a model WP76053 built Feb 1994. thanks

From the sounds of it, a control board issue. There is a board repair service located in Peterborough, Ontario that other forum members have used and were satisfied. The other repair services are located in the States so $$ and shipping would be more.

Thank you for the reply. I am dealing with an outfit in the States as you suggest but would prefer to deal in Canada. It has been a very faithful stove and I would like to keep it running..

Have you sent your board out yet? The fellow in Peterborough is less expensive especially considering the exchange.... he's been around for years.

That sounds good. Have not sent board out yet as still troubleshooting problem. The stove is 1994 model and uses the Analog Board so I was thinking of updating it to the newer style Digital board which they say works on that stove. I also have the Quest Plus and it uses the digital board so I am somewhat familiar with them.
