hi im new to this forum and i have been doing a little research on wood stoves and think i want to build a air forced wood stove. does anyone know where i can find a good set of blue prints to build one myself. what would yall suggest as far as design type etc, want to heat about a 1600 sqft house. any help ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I'm in the same boat as you. I'm wanting to build a boiler. All I can say is good luck. This is not a place for a DIY builder. You probably won't get much help on finding plans or info on building.

Best advice I can give is research like crazy on line and go from there. again good luck.

Wouldn't it be better to get a Drolet tundra currently going for about 1250 with the 11% rebate at Menards? Cheaper version of the Caddy I believe that goes for twice that. Seem to have a lot of satisfied users on here.

I have stumbled on a a couple of forums that are more geared to the builder....just do some searching, this crew here is not that knowledgable in that area...
