I know I ask a lot of questions.....lol......sorry!

But just out of curosity, do you guys run your Alderlea's with trivets open or closed??

Do you think one way or the other puts off more heat or moves heat better??

Last yr, without the fan, i thought there was slightly more heat with the trivets spread out.... Probably more radiant heat, and the same amount of convected heat.

Add the fan and you can keep the trivets closed, the fan made a huge difference in heat output. It was recommended here by I believe "Summit" (thankyou). Very easy to add, and so far, very quiet.
