That still hasn't gotten the stove ready to burn for the season?

Did a so so clean in spring, emptied hopper, blocked vent and installed damp rid.

Tomorrow is the deep clean with pulling the motors and cleaning them, new gaskets, vent clean with leaf blower.

Trouble is after all that work we only have 1 bag of pellets left from last year and no money to buy any. I think we will have to dip into the property tax money....

Woke up with outside temp this AM at 30 degrees and snow forecast for tomorrow. You bet we have the stoves going.

yeah, it's been in the 30's am. But house isn't cold. I imagine after the next week of 40's for a high it will be pretty cold.

I can categorically state that you ARE NOT the only one to get the stove ready before the cold hits! The real procrastinators wait UNTIL IT GETS cold to even attempt to start their unit AND source pellets, then get mad when nooone can get there RIGHT NOW to fix it......

I just need to do the leafblower trick and we're good to go. Oh...we still need to buy our pellets too. It's still in the 65-70 for the highs so I'm in no rush.

I haven't cleaned my house stove since last season... I have two bags of pellets in stock for two stoves. I hope it's a mild winter.

I feel better now that I am in such good company.

I had a really good cleaning done, auger empty, hopper empty, then we got a cold snap in JUNE for goodness sake and had to fire it up.

Picking up a ton of pellets tomorrow. Rib Mt $225
