New house; humiliating question: How to light pilot on this old stove?
Turned gas off. Followed printed instructions on door, "find the pilot".
Instead found tiny flap held on by Philips head screw in vaguely appropriate place, covering a hole about 1/4" round.
Seems too small.
I went to Woodman's to look at list of parts, thinking I could find where to light pilot, but graphic too unclear for me to to strike a match to gas.
Is there better instruction than "find the pilot" printed on door of stove?
Any help greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Chilly in New Mexico
