Happy Easter all!
I just updated from the GMG prime to the GMG prime plus with the brushless 12vdc auger motor for the best stable temps and other new features!
Anyway, I think I figured it out, you have to smoke the eggs in the shell on 325 for 30-45 mins then take them off and chill them down and peel the eggs then put them back on the grill for another 30-45 mins @ 180 Degs for the nice Smokey flavor!!
:)

Any Comments?

Can you boil and then smoke? How did they taste? Never heard of this way of cooking eggs.

I used to smoke eggs in a smoker I had built when I would have a batch of cheese to smoke. I used to make cheese but then my farmer broke his hip and gave up the dairy end of the farm.

Low smoke temp below 90°f for two hours heavy smoke, take out and finish in a 400° preheated oven or grill for 5 minutes. Turn 1/2 way through. If you have farm fresh eggs and are smoking them you need to wash them a littler more than just getting the chicken chit off. There is a fine membrane on the outside of the shell. In eggs sold in the store it is washed off but it allows air into the egg. That's why they don't store as well and aren't as firm and perky as fresh. Extra washing allows the smoke to easier reach the inside of the egg.

Don't eat eggs myself.
